Art and writing contest for kids

The deadline is Feb. 11 to enter CORA Services’ art and writing contest.

First- through fourth-graders are invited to submit an original piece of Dr. Seuss-themed color artwork, with one to three sentences explaining the work. The winner will receive $50.

Fifth- through eighth-graders are invited to write a poem about themselves using Dr. Seuss rhythm and rhyme. Poems should be a minimum of 25 lines. The winner will receive $100.
